Elsa Meyer Elementary

Students in Melissa Princinsky’s second grade classroom at Elsa Meyer Elementary have been studying the states of matter with a lava lamp experiment.  The students combined water, oil, and food coloring, and then added an Alka Seltzer tablet to create a gas. It is evident by the expression on their faces that this hands-on activity is something they will always remember!
