On Saturday, December 7th- 2019 graduate Ben Jacobs was recognized at the Greater Flint Area Sports Hall of Fame as their Male Athlete of the Year at the Genesys Health Club in Grand Blanc.
A standout on the XC course and the track, Ben is currently enrolled at the University of Michigan where he runs XC and Track for Coach Sullivan and the Wolverines! Ben won the 1600m Division 2 State Title as a senior, cementing a stellar career which included being a member of the 2016 MITCA State Championship Track Team, the 2016 Boy's XC Division 2 State Championship Team, and being a member of the 2016 4x Mile relay team that secured All-American honors!
Benjamin is no stranger to the spotlight- last year he was named the Flint Kiwanis Male Athlete of the Year, the Argus Press Track Athlete of the Year, and the Argus Press All Area Runner of the Year! Congratulations to Ben on a great accomplishment and for continuing to be a fantastic ambassador of Cavalier Athletics!
