Dave Butcher is a part-time custodian. He works in the food service department, is the district mailman and custodian at central office. Dave was first hired in August of 1993. He retired in August of 2010. Dave came back in this current part-time role in September of 2012. “I have worked in a variety of positions. I started as a paraprofessional in Ag class,” said Dave.
Dave said, “My favorite best day was my wedding day.”
Dave’s bucket list includes restoring old tractors, restoring his dad’s old sawmill, and travel.
“What sets Corunna apart from other districts is the caring staff,” said Dave.
“My parents and wife have most positively influenced me. They always helped to steer me on the right path,” said Dave.
Dave said, “I enjoy being involved with the Shiawassee County Fair and going fishing in Canada. Going to old stem engine shows is also something I like to do. My grandfather had an old steam engine.”
