Cindy Richmond has been named October Employee of the Month. Cindy was honored during the October 21 Board of Education meeting held at Corunna High School. Cindy was first hired in 1998. She is a first grade teacher at Elsa Meyer Elementary.
“My favorite best days would be when Dick Ziegler called me to tell me my dream had come true. I was going to be a teacher for Corunna Public Schools, my favorite place. Another favorite would be when my little ones come out of nowhere to give me a big hug and tell me they love me! Knowing my kiddos feel safe and cared about is always an amazing day! Also the time that I was recognized as Shiawassee County Educator of the Year and the State of Michigan Excellence in Education,” said Cindy.
Cindy and her husband, Greg, have three children. Joshua, Nicholas (Danielle), and Lindsay.
