About Us

WELCOME!!!

Children’s Services is proud to welcome you to our building.  We are excited to showcase what we know about how children learn… through hands-on exploration!  We develop activities to engage children and promote their learning and development in all areas.  This includes cognition, social relationships, and physical development including small and large motor, problem solving and critical thinking skills, literacy development, creativity and independence.

We strive to create environments that are welcoming and support learning through children’s interests.  We understand the need for consistent daily routines so children feel safe and secure, knowing what’s coming next and we also build in the flexibility to make the most of unexpected learning opportunities.  Learning through play and exploration is invaluable to a child’s development.

We can measure our effectiveness by the enjoyment of the children.  We hope you and your child will enjoy your time here!

We provide Preschool and Childcare for children ages 30 months through 12 years.   Services are available year round, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Our program is approved (licensed) by the Michigan Department of Human Services, Office of Children and Adult Licensing   We meet or exceed all standards of quality established by Public Act 116 of 1973.  Our licensing binder is available during regular business hours for parents and the community.  This includes copies of all licensing inspection reports, special investigation reports and all related corrective action plans. The binder also includes a summary sheet outlining all the reports and CAPs contained.
