Please help our community and pitch in to put up our Senior Banners at 4 p.m. this Thursday (4.25.24) at the McCurdy Park Community Center. Subway (Chris and Kelly Rowe) is sponsoring the banners this year. If interested in helping, please bring an 8-foot "A" ladder and a partner. Corunna's Rotary Club will have members on hand; it helps put up the banners as one of its many service projects each year. Many hands make for light work!!

This is a state initiative to find out areas that need better internet coverage for homes. Please take the time to fill out the survey link below.
If your home Internet is unreliable or slow, or you have no Internet access, please consider taking the Merit Bead Challenge. www.merit.edu/challenge.
The Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program is a federal grant intended to expand access to high-speed internet. When submitting a challenge, maps are improved, and Bead funding is unlocked for the community. Deadline is April 25th.

Today in Amanda Danek's Corunna High School History in Films Class, they were able to host Sergeant Mr. Gary Higgins at Corunna High School. Her students have been vigorously studying the Vietnam era and by way of the Shiawassee County Veteran Affairs, Michael A. Reeve, we were able to get in touch with a true gem and patriot, Gary. The students learned today what freedom truly is, and we are so grateful. So, "Welcome Home" to Gary and a huge heartfelt, thank you for your service. CHS was able to get an education today that they will remember for a lifetime.
