Kevin Sturgis (Middle School Teacher) and Cierra Reau (Elementary PTO President) were both honored last night during the Corunna Public Schools' Board of Education meeting. Cierra is the Volunteer of the Month and Kevin is the Employee of the Month. Thank you to these dedicated Cavaliers!

Fellow Cavaliers,

I wanted to update you on a rumor that has been circulating at CHS regarding a potential threat. Our internal investigation determined no credible threat was made. Law enforcement has also investigated, and they concurred that there is no evidence to substantiate the rumor. They, too, came to the conclusion that no credible threat was made. 

We take all threats that come to us seriously, investigate them thoroughly, and involve law enforcement as necessary. 

Please take this opportunity to remind your child to report any rumor to an adult ASAP. If you become aware of a threat, please contact the school or the local police department. Please refrain from spreading information to other families or on social media. This makes our investigation more difficult and potentially spreads untrue rumors.
