Jan Ray has been named March Volunteer of the Month. Jan has been an active volunteer for fourteen years. She volunteers with Odyssey of the Mind, Corunna Athletic Club, Corunna Education Foundation, and was a former Board member.
Jan said, “I enjoy interacting with parents and grandparents, and watching their children grow through activities in Odyssey of the Mind, sports, music, etc. When I was first chosen for a School Board opening in June 2010, I looked for an opportunity to help and walked into the concession stand.”

Francis Osika and Jennifer Osika were honored during the March 18 Board meeting as January Volunteer(s) of the Month. Jennifer has volunteered for 27 years and Francis has volunteered for 30 years for Corunna athletics.
Jennifer Osika said, “ Corunna is a small-town school with a big heart and pride for the community. I enjoy working with past, present, and future athletic directors, coaches, staff, and players from Corunna and opposing schools.”
Francis Osika said, “Corunna Public Schools has many wonderful people and students in the system and at every event. You meet new people who take pride in Corunna Public Schools. By volunteering you get to meet many people and students from other schools and communities, whether it be coaches, student athletes, scorekeepers, school administrators, or parents. Also, you meet the many officials who have many good things to say about Corunna Schools which makes you feel Great to be Gold!”
