Battle of the Books at CHS
Please consider donating to the Corunna High School Battle of the Books!
What is it?
CHS students create teams of five and the team is to read six books throughout the month of February. To kick off March is Reading Month, CHS begins a tournament trivia style contest about the six books.
When is it?
February 9th kicks off reading
March 11th-13th- Round one of trivia competition
March 14th-15th- Round two of trivia competition
March 21st- FINALS
How can you help?

We would love all of the community support! If you're not quite sure what Odyssey of the Mind is, this is a great opportunity to come see all of our teams hard work. All 3 teams will be competing in the gym, times listed below.

The dance is for boys and their mothers or another important female in their lives.

The Mother Son Dance , An Adventure Awaits, will be held February 27 at Corunna Middle School. Tickets are on sale now. We will have a fun camping and outdoor theme. Moms will not be required to pack sleeping bags, bug spray, supplies for smores, or any other camping related task! It will be just a night to enjoy time with your loved one(s).

The 2023 Runner-up Football Division V Corunna Varsity Football Team and their coaches were honored during the January 22 Corunna Public Schools’ Board of Education meeting. It was announced as well that not only were they a top team on the field this fall, but also named as first team Academic All-State by the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association. True scholar athletes!

Sharon Taylor and Teresa Walter were honored during the January 22 Board of Education meeting at CHS. Both are one-to-one paraprofessionals at Corunna Middle School. Two more reasons why It is Great to be Gold!

The Daddy Daughter Dance scheduled for this evening will be held. Look forward to seeing everyone tonight!
Here is an update on tonight's events:
- Our Daddy/Daughter dance will go on as planned.
- Voluntary varsity practices will be allowed between 3 and 7 p.m.
- Tonight's away swim meet has been canceled by opposing teams.
- Heavenly Tumbles is canceled for tonight as well.
