Stephanie Fanko is the May 2023 Employee of the Month!
Stephanie Fanko has been named the May Employee of the Month. Stephanie is a first grade teacher at Elsa Meyer Elementary. She was hired in August of 2018. “After working in three districts, I feel that I have found “home”. The support and encouragement that I have felt and experienced has been very helpful during some tough times,” said Stephanie.
Stephanie said, “You may be surprised to learn that I have a side business. I do makeovers, skin consults, and I sell the cosmetic and skincare products.”
“I have two things on my bucket list, travel to Europe and Africa and own a lake house,” said Stephanie.
Stephani said, “My favorite best day was the day my daughter Everlee was born.”
“Memories that I will always have are preparing the first grade hallway for March is Reading Month. It is a lot of work, but we have fun and the kids love it,” said Stephanie.
“I believe one thing that sets Corunna apart from other districts is the support from co-workers,” said Stephanie.
Stephanie said, “The persons that have most positively influenced me are my mom and grandma. They are both strong and independent women.”
In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys crafts, shopping, and reading.

We are planning on a 7 p.m. graduation tonight OUTSIDE at The Nick. All reports right now are saying there's a 0% chance of rain at that time -- I would encourage attendees to bring an umbrella just in case...
