Who inspired you?
Just a few staff pictures.
Teachers, coaches, and other support staff members play a very important role in students’ lives. Caring individuals bring out the best in students and inspire them to strive for greatness. Past and present educators at Corunna Public Schools have inspired countless students to achieve personal and career success and become a positive influence in the communities in which they live. As a district, we would like to know which educator(s) most influenced you and where the important lessons learned at Corunna have led you. Please email Peggy Friess at pfriess@corunna.k12.mi.us and let her know where your Corunna roots have taken you.

December 2021 Employee of the Month
Amanda Sanburn has been named December Employee of the Month. She has worked for the district since February 2019. She was honored during the December 13 Board of Education meeting held at Corunna High School. Amanda is an office manager at Corunna Middle School. “I am deeply honored to receive this month’s Employee of the Month. I am blessed to work with such an amazing team; especially Jennifer Andrejack and Ingrid Dettman. Jennifer is very patient and accommodating. She quickly adapts to new circumstances as they arise, while keeping a smile on her face. Ingrid’s strong work ethic is contagious. She’s a great leader and everyone benefits from her dedication and organizational skills. There are many other coworkers that help make my job easier and the office run efficiently. I wish I could share this award with them all! It really is wonderful working for the middle school. We have a family work environment; the staff is always there for each other as well as the students. It truly is Great to Be Gold,” said Amanda.
