The Shiawassee County Health Dept. has 3 more covid vaccine clinics scheduled this month at the Shiawassee County Health Department, for ages 12 & up. Work on Street by CHS The summer food distribution today will be on the east side of the high school instead of the west entrance. Please use the circle drive in front of the high school. You will need to go around the block and come to the high school from the east. This detour will also need to be used for swim lessons and other camps for the next few days.

Therefore, be it resolved, that today, June 21 , 2021, the Corunna Public Schools’ Board of Education commends and congratulates Bridget Ryon and her coach Karla Scott on being an All-State Athlete in Bowling.

June 2021 Corunna Public Schools Employee of the Month Erik Mack was named June Employee of the Month. Erik was honored during the June21 Board of Education meeting held at Corunna High School. Paul was first hired in January 2020, as a substitute at Children’s Services Preschool and Childcare Program. “My wife and I are proud to be part of the 40% of Corunna school of choice parents that value a quality education for our three children. While dropping off my littles at Louise Peacock, I realized how much I would like to work there. I started as a paraprofessional in February 2020 and found my calling as a teacher soon after. I am now an associate teacher pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education from CMU. I appreciate every opportunity the Corunna school district has provided me, and intend to seize every opportunity going forward,” said Erik. Erik and his wife, Megan, have three children, Aden, Erik and Opal. Erik is pictured with his family and Board of Education Trustee Jan Ray.
