Students in Tonya Trimble's Corunna High School AP Literature class took time for some holiday fun by creating Literary Pumpkins. Each student chose to represent one of their favorite reads using paint, markers, and other props to represent theme, setting, characters, and imagery.
Students presented their pumpkins and shared a written reflection which explained the literary connections represented. Additionally, other English classes voted on the top three literary pumpkins: 1st = Pete the Cat (Cal Butts); 2nd = Bad Case of Stripes (Lillie Dietzel); 3rd = The Hunger Games (Kaylin Robertson)
Each pumpkin was generously donated by Casie Stiles (Stiles Pumpkin Farm and Backroad Blossoms).
