In a culminating activity to end their Macbeth unit of study, students in Mrs. Trimble's Honors English III class were grouped together to creatively reinterpret Shakespeare's play. Students analyzed the power of words and the depth of meaning while having fun and 'Acting It Out' in class. The students went all in and knocked the assignment out of the park!

Please join us on April 15 for our Cavalier Reception. The event will be held at Corunna High School and begin at 6:00 p.m. We will honor our Teacher of the Year.-Brian Kiesling, and our Employee of the Year Ingrid Dettman. The evening event will also include honoring and recognizing our Summa Cum Laude Class of 2024 and our Shiawassee Scholars Class of 2028. It will be a great night to be a Cavalier!

Ticket sales end March 29. The Corunna Band Boosters are proud to host its 3rd annual “Jazz Night” fundraiser. Join us for an evening of food, fun and entertainment featuring our Corunna High School Jazz Band. Tickets include a delicious Czech chicken dinner, beverages, music and dancing. Also for purchase will be a dessert bar, 50/50 tickets and silent auction items. Tickets are $30 per person, ages 10-6 are $15 each and 5 & under are free. Want to be guaranteed a table close to the dance floor? Purchase a premium table that comes with eight tickets, a free 50/50 ticket, a car decal and first in line to eat, all for $300. Want to just be guaranteed a table for your whole party of eight? Purchase a reserved table that comes with eight tickets for $240. Jan Ray has been named March Volunteer of the Month. Jan has been an active volunteer for fourteen years. She volunteers with Odyssey of the Mind, Corunna Athletic Club, Corunna Education Foundation, and was a former Board member. Jan said, “I enjoy interacting with parents and grandparents, and watching their children grow through activities in Odyssey of the Mind, sports, music, etc. When I was first chosen for a School Board opening in June 2010, I looked for an opportunity to help and walked into the concession stand.” Jan is pictured with Board of Education Trustee Dennis Braid.
