The paraprofessional will be responsible for daily adaptations of the general education curriculum including: Transcribing small amounts of print material into braille. Using adaptive technology including, but not limited to: the Braillenote, Jaws Screen Reader, Victor Stream, and abacus Communicating with classroom teachers about their needs and the students’ needs to make the learning accessible and reasonable for the student Identifying the purpose or intent of a classroom lesson and adapting it in a manner that still conveys the main idea or meaning. Rickie Wilson Honored by Board of Education Rickie Wilson has been named July Employee of the Month. Rickie is an EDUStaff substitute custodian. He was hired in April 2019. He was honored during the July 18 Board of Education meeting held at Corunna High School. “I try to dedicate my service to whatever school I work at to bring it up to reflect the excellence that the district brings to the community,” said Rickie. Rickie said, “The one person that most positively influences me is Jesus. He has led me into a different way to see things.” Rickie is married to Amy and together have six children, 16 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
