February 2022 Employee of the Month-Edward Wiseley Edward is the district’s crossing guard. He was hired in October of 2012. Ed stands his post at the corners of Comstock/McArthur and at Converse/Norton Streets each morning and afternoon. “It’s a true joy every day at the corners waving at you all, hearing the kids coming down the sidewalk, the different things I hear, and stories the kids tell me”, said Edward. “Something that you may not know about me is that last summer I had purple hair”, said Edward. Edward said, “A boy named Kegan, got me stopping traffic on Corunna Avenue. He was a third grader, many years ago, and I saw him run through traffic on Corunna Avenue. After that, I started helping children cross Corunna Avenue”. “I believe what sets Corunna apart from other districts is the academics and staff members who work for Corunna”, said Edward. Edward said, “The person that most influenced me was my dad. He taught us respect and to treat people like you would like to be treated. In his spare time, Edward enjoys art and drawing.

Come out and join us on March 1! Mother Son Dance. We will have a scavenger hunt and games to play as well as dancing, music, refreshments and photo opportunity. Tickets on sale now at the administration office, 124 North Shiawassee Street, Corunna.

The Mother Son Dance-"Date Knight with a Queen" is set for March 1. Couples will have the opportunity to dance, play games, go on a scavenger hunt, enjoy punch and cookies, and picture taken by Hickory Lane Photography. It is a night to make a lasting memory with your "little knight". Tickets may be purchased at 124 North Shiwassee Street, Corunna (next door to the Town Tub gas station) and are $15.00 a couple, $5.00 for each additional son.

Mother Son Dance-March 1 The castle (Corunna Middle School) is all set for the knights and queens! Kindergarten/Begindergarten Registration: We are incredibly excited to open our registration process for Kindergarten/Begindergarten for the next school year. Students that will be 5 years old by December 1, 2022 will be eligible to participate.
